This policy explains how Record & Learn LLC handles information in Record and Learn Invoice Solutions, the signed-in web workspace at mechanic-invoice.netlify.app. It is not an on-device iOS privacy policy or the App Store privacy nutrition label for our iOS apps. Those stay on recordandlearn.info and Apple’s listings.
Who we are
Record & Learn LLC, in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, United States, operates this workspace. The public product name is Record and Learn Invoice Solutions. The chrome may say Record & Learn.
Each signup is one shop workspace with one owner. There is no staff login and no customer portal.
What we collect
Account: username, email, password hash held by our auth provider, and the session cookies needed to keep you signed in.
Shop records you enter: shop settings and logo if you upload one, customers, vehicles, invoices, line items, payments, reversals, tax or warranty text you add, and backups you create.
If you start Shop, Stripe handles card details. We store the workspace plan and the Stripe customer or subscription identifiers needed to keep branding entitlements in sync. We do not see your full card number.
We also store technical logs needed to run the service, such as health checks and failed sign-in or webhook errors. We do not sell your shop data.
How we use it
To create and sign you into your workspace, keep invoices and payments, render English and Arabic PDFs, export Excel, run backup and restore, and apply Shop branding if you pay.
Password reset uses the email on the account. If we cannot send mail, reset will not arrive. We do not use shop invoices to train a public AI product.
Who processes it
Hosting and the public site: Netlify.
Database, authentication, and private file storage: Supabase (project region United States).
Shop payments: Stripe.
PDF rendering: Browserless receives invoice HTML, including customer and vehicle details on the invoice, to generate the PDF.
Those providers process data only as needed to run this product. Company-wide website analytics on recordandlearn.info are separate from this signed-in workspace.
Export, delete, and retention
You can download Excel reports and a full backup from Settings. Restore is only into an empty workspace, with confirmation.
You can delete the workspace from Settings. That removes that owner’s shop records and the auth user for that workspace. Copies already downloaded, Stripe payment records, and short-lived operational logs may remain as the law or the processor requires.
If you stop using the product without deleting, we keep the workspace until you delete it or we close an abandoned or abusive account.
Children, advice, venue, and changes
This product is for shop operators, not children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
This software is not tax, accounting, legal, or medical advice. You are responsible for the records you issue.
Ohio law and courts in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, govern disputes about this workspace.
If we change this policy, we will update the date on this page. Continued use after a material change means you accept the revised policy.
